Animation of Project Installation
An animation sequence of the construction steps involved with a proposed shoreline restoration project in the Garden's North Lake can be viewed by clicking the play button below. This animation sequence closely resembles the installation of Bioengineering Shoreline Treatment 2, which involves the placement of an underwater stone berm in the lake and then backfilling with clay soil to create a wide shallow water planting "shelf" along the shoreline for aquatic and emergent plants.
The animation can be viewed via the YouTube video below. For a more detailed view, we suggest that you double-click the video so that it opens in a new window and then expand the video to full screen mode. If you have a relatively fast internet connection, you can adjust the resolution up to 720pHD.
